Maintain Oral To Always Speak Good !

KEEPING ORAL TO ALWAYS TELL GOOD

By
Shaykh Abdul Muhsin Bin Hamd Al-bAbbad Al-Badr

Allah says:

"O ye who believe, fear all of you to Allah and say the right words, surely God will repair your deeds and forgive your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, then indeed he has received great victory ”[Al-Ahzab: 70-71]

In another verse it is mentioned.

"O ye who believe, stay away from prejudice, because in fact some of these prejudiced actions are sinful. You must not find fault with others, and do not let a part of you gossip any other part. Does one of you eat the flesh of a dead brother? Of course you feel disgusted with him. And fear Allah. Verily Allah is the Recipient of repentance, the Most Merciful "[Al-Hujurat: 12]

Allah also said.

"And indeed We created man and knew what was whispered by his heart, and We were closer to him than the veins of his neck, (ie) when two angels recorded his deeds, one sat on the right and the other sat on the left. There was not a word he said but near the guardian angel who was always present "[Qaf: 16-18]

Likewise the word of Allah Ta'ala.

"And people who hurt people mu'min and mu'minat without the mistakes they made, then in fact they have carried the lies and real sins" [Al-Ahzab: 58]

In the book Sahih Muslim hadith no. 2589 mentioned.

"It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wa sallam once asked his friends, "Do you know what it is to worship?" The Companions replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better. "He said," Ghibah is that you tell things about your brother that he does not like "Someone replied," What if the one I was talking about was really there? "He replied," If so, that means you have made fun of it , whereas if what you say is not there, it means that you have lied to him. "

Allah Almighty said.

"And do not follow something you do not know. Verily, hearing, sight and heart, all of them will be held accountable "[Al-Israa: 36]

It was reported from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wa sallam said.

"Surely Allah will honor you in three matters and hate you in three. God is pleased with you if you only worship Allah alone and do not associate with him and cling to Allah's rope (religion) entirely and do not divide you. And God hates you if you like qila wa qala (saying baseless), asking questions (which are not useful) and wasting wealth "[1]

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu bahwa anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said.

"Every child of Adam has got a part of adultery which he cannot avoid. Adultery in the eye is seeing. Adultery in the ear is heard. Zina tongue is said words. Adultery hands are fingering. Zina foot is stepping. (In this case), the heart has wishful thinking, and it is the genitals that prove all that or undo it "[2]

Narrated by Bukhari in the Saheeh hadith book no.10 from Abdullah bin Umar Radhiyallahu bahwa anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said.

"A Muslim is someone whose other Muslims have survived his verbal and handicaps."

The above hadiths are also narrated by Muslims no.64 with lafaz.

"There was a man who asked the Prophet sallallaahu‘ alaihi wa sallam, "Who are the best Muslims? 'He replied," Someone who other Muslims survived from verbal and hand interference ".

The above hadith is also narrated by Muslims from Jabir hadith no. 65 with lafaz as narrated by Bukhari from Abdullah bin Umar.

Al-Hafizh (Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani) explained the hadith. He said, "This hadith is general if it is attributed to oral. That is because oral allows talking about what has happened, what is happening now and also what will happen in the future. Unlike the hand. The influence of the hand is not as broad as oral influence. Even so, the hand can also have a broad influence as oral, that is through writing. And the influence of writing is also great with the influence of writing. "

Therefore, in a sya'ir it is mentioned:

I write and I'm sure when I write it
My hand is gone, but my handwriting is eternal

If my hand writes goodness, it will be rewarded accordingly
If my hand writes ugliness, just waiting for a reply.

Narrated by Al-Bukhari in the Shahih book the hadith no. 6474 from Sahl bin Sa'id that the Prophet said.

"Whoever can guarantee me (to guard) what is between his two beards and his two legs, then I give him a guarantee of entering heaven"

What is meant by what is between the two beards is the mouth, while what is between the two legs is pubic.

Al-Bukhari in his Saheeh book no. 6475 and Muslims in the Saheeh book no. 74 narrates the hadith from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said.

"Whoever believes in Allah and the last day, he should say good or silent"

Imam Nawawi commented on this hadith when explaining Arba'in's hadiths. He explained, "Imam Shafi'i explained that the purpose of this hadith is if someone wants to say let him think first. If it is expected that his words will not bring harm, then please speak. However, if it is expected that his words will bring harm or doubt whether it will bring harm or not, then he should not have to speak ". Some scholars say, "If you buy the paper for the angels who record your charity, surely you will be more silent than talking".

Imam Abu Hatim Ibn Hibban Al-Busti said in his book Raudhah Al-qUqala wa Nazhah Al-Fudhala p. 45, "People who have sense should be more silent than talking. That is because how many people regret talking, and few regret being silent. The most wretched person and the biggest part gets the disaster is the person whose oral is always talking, while the mind does not want to walk ".

He also said on p. 47, "A person who has reason should use more of his ears than his mouth. He needs to realize that he is given two ears, while giving only one mouth is so that he hears more than talking. Often people are sorry later on because of the words they say, while their silence will never bring regret. And withdrawing from unspoken words is easier than attracting words that have already been spoken. That is because usually when someone is talking, his words will dominate him. Conversely, if he is not talking, he will be able to control his words.

He added on p. 49, "The mouth of an intelligent person is under the control of his heart. When he wants to speak, he will ask his heart first. If the words are beneficial to him, then he will speak, but if it is not useful, he will be silent. As for people who are stupid, their hearts are under their verbal control. He will speak whatever his mouth wants to say. A person who cannot maintain his tongue means not understanding his religion ".

Al-Bukhari narrated a hadith in the Saheeh book no. 6477 and Muslims in the Saheeh book no. 2988 [3] from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said.

"Indeed, a servant who speaks a word that does not think about the effects will make him fall into hell which is deeper than east and west"

This problem is also mentioned at the end of the hadith which contains the Prophet's will to Muadz narrated by At-Tirmidhi no. 2616 which at the same time he comments on the hadith which is hasan saheeh. In the hadith the Prophet said.

"Isn't there someone who plunges people into hell besides the verbal fruit?"

The Prophet's words above are in response to Mu'adz's question.

"O Prophet of God, will we be taken away from what we say later?"

Al-Hafidz Ibnu Rajab commented on this hadith in the book Jami 'Al-Ulum wa Al-Hikam (II / 147), "What is meant by his oral fruit is a reply and torment from his unclean words. Indeed, everyone who lives in the world is planting good or bad with his words and deeds. Then on the Day of Resurrection he will reap what he planted. Whoever planted something good from his words or deeds, he will fulfill glory. Conversely, whoever plants something bad from speech or deeds will later reap regret. "

He also said in the same book (p.146), "This shows that keeping oral and always controlling it is the basis of all goodness. And whoever is able to master the oral, actually he has been able to master, control and regulate all his affairs ".

Then on page 149 he quoted the words of Yunus bin Ubaid, "Someone who thinks that his oral can bring disaster often I find good deeds".

It was reported that Yahya bin Abi Katsir once said, "Someone who is good at his words can I see from the deeds of his deeds, and those who are ugly in his words can I see from his deeds".

Muslims narrate a hadith in the Saheeh book no. 2581 from Abu Hurairah the Prophet said.

"Do you know who is a bankrupt person? The friends also answered, rut People who go bankrupt are people who do not have dirham money or property. 'He replied,' Indeed people who go bankrupt among my Ummah are people who come on the Day of Judgment by bringing the rewards of prayer, fasting and almsgiving, however, he also comes carrying sins in the form of reproach, accusation, eating wealth, spilling blood and beating people other. Later the goodness will be given to the wronged person. If the deeds of goodness have been exhausted while the retaliation of acts of tyranny has not been completed, then take the wronged sins, then give them to him. Then he was cast into hell.

Muslims narrate a long hadith in the book Shahih no. 2564 from Abu Hurairah, which finally goes off.

"It's enough that someone is said to be bad if it insults his fellow Muslims. A Muslim must guard the blood, property and honor of other Muslims "

Al-Bukhari related a hadith in the Shahih book of hadith no. 1739; so does Muslim [4] from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet once preached on the nutrient of nahar (Eid al-Adha). In the sermon, he asked the people present at the time, "What day is this?" They replied, "An unclean day". He asked again, "What country is this?" They replied, "The Land of Haram". He asked again, "What month is this?" They answered, "The forbidden month". Next he said.

"Verily your blood, wealth and honor are forbidden to each of you (seizing it) as forbidden; day, month and country. He repeated the statement several times, then said, "O Allah, have I not delivered (Your command)? O Allah, have I not delivered (Your command)? "

Ibn Abbas commented on the words of the Prophet above, "For the sake of Allah whose soul is in His hands, actually this is his will for his people. He advised us, ‘Therefore, those present should inform those who are not present. You should not return to disbelief after I leave, that is, you will cut off each other's necks. "

Muslims narrate a hadith in the Saheeh book no. 2674 from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said.

"Whoever calls for good, he gets a reward like the reward of those who follow him, without reducing their reward in the slightest. And whoever calls on heresy, sin is for her the sin of those who follow her without reducing their sins in the slightest "

Al-Hafidz Al-Mundziri in the book At-Targhib wa At-Tarhib (I / 65) commented on the hadith.

"If a human dies, then the path of charity is cut off except for three cases ... etc."

He said, "People who put on useful knowledge will get the reward of their own actions and the rewards of those who read, write and practice it, based on this hadith and the hadith that are semis. Likewise, people who write things that produce sin, then they will get sin from their own actions and sins from those who read, write or practice them, based on the hadith.

"Whoever pioneers good or bad deeds, then ..."

Al-Bukhari narrated a hadith in the Saheeh book no. 6505 from Abu Hurairah, the Prophet said.

"Verily, Allah says," Whoever is hostile to my beloved, then let him be fought "
